Hello everyone! I want to start this update a little bit differently...
Thanks to some incredibly kind words from some community members in the Discord channel, we've reflected (lol) on the site and we've discussed what we feel is the most appropriate way to proceed with Idolise.
Nikki and I have been working on Idolise together for more than three years, and our lives have changed a ton (yours too, I bet) since we decided to open a TCG. The amount of time we're willing to spend on the site has changed, but I think simple problems have simple solutions. The best way to keep Idolise running smoothly is to get help from you guys. We trust the Idolise community to put in just as much (probably more to be honest) love and care into the site as we do.
Over the next few weeks, we'll be asking for help in different areas of the site. You guys know more about the site than we do, and we think that it's a great idea to get you all more involved and have more people running Idolise than ever.
We've started with custom content. There is information over on the forum! (The tutorials are quite old, so if they seem outdated, that is because they are.)
The things that we need help with are not necessarily limited to custom content. There are a lot of areas of the site that need love and enthusiasm, and we will let you guys know what those are as we decide how we want to approach them going forward. Anything that can be automated with code will be, but there are quite a few aspects of the site that need to be taken care of by a human.
Nikki from the other room just joked that it's "time to pitch in", and I thought I would share that because it made me laugh.
Games
Nikki has kindly updated the Set 2 games. As always, the Weekly Set can be played again.
Freebies have been updated and Boo has new cards.
Decks
We were fresh out of women, but Nikki came through with some girl group music video decks. She released some based on what she thought you would have voted for, so let her know how she did over on the Discord.
