Greetings, Idolise members! Welcome back to your regularly scheduled Sunday update. This is going to be very fast and short today, because Nikki and I have D&D this afternoon, and I have some school work that needs to be mostly finished before then.
12 Days of Christmas is Over
That's right! We've made it to January 17th, and that was the due date for all 12 Days of Christmas related rewards.
With the exception of the additional Dream Decks that you could master, which still have a number of unmade badges, there is nothing pending on the admin side of things! I am hoping to get to those things week. They shouldn't take me very long!
Otherwise, the only thing left for each of you to do is pick up your gift from the 9th Day of Christmas! Only those who chose one of the four Santa toys are eligable for this gift, which you can find over here!
The Santa gifts are as even as we could make them, because we don't want there to be any losers. Each Santa includes 30 cards from a single card category, some gold and choice card coupons. Enjoy!

Hello to all of our lovely Idolise members on this Sunday afternoon. We're going to keep this update nice and short, but we hope that everyone is doing well.
Winter Event
Wow, you guys are really working hard towards the winter event. Nikki and I were very surprised when we checked this week, and we have 800 masteries from you guys already. We won't get into it, and you know who you are... But one of you has mastered almost half of those 800 decks on your own. Dang.
To help contribute to the event, Nikki and I want to give you guys 15 choice cards. The only condition is that you must use these choice cards for decks that are included in our event decklist! Even if you aren't actively participating in the event, hopefully, you can find something in that list that you need. Good luck!

Hello and happy new year! We hope that everyone had a safe holiday season with their loved ones, and we're happy to be spending the first Sunday of the new year together!
For the most part, Idolise is business as usual. We do, however, want to take a moment to thank everyone that made suggestions last month through our Q&A game. We really enjoy running Idolise and have a lot of ideas, but getting suggestions from the members helps steer us in the right direction. We are planning on implementing a number of these ideas, but a few of them are going to take some careful planning and execution! Please hold.
Otherwise, before we jump into things, let's congratuate our January member of the month! Mio was chosen randomly by our number generator. Congratulations, Mio!

2016 Decks
As a lot of you will probably remember, we spent the first half of 2020 retiring the 2015 decks for the reasons that are laid out here. Nikki and I were recently asked whether or not we'll be retiring 2016 decks as well, and we wanted to answer that today with a (somewhat vague) not right now, but maybe in the second half of 2021.
2020 was an interesting year for many things... Including donations! Compared to 2019, we feel like we received way less new eras, and that has put us in less of a rush to retire those decks and remove them from our donation guidelines. We also want to say that we promise to provide a warning in advance! We will not be dropping this on you guys out of nowhere.

It's a brand new year, and it may be a good time to refresh your memory and read through the donation guidelines again!

But that doesn't mean that you can't still participate!
All rewards must be taken before January 17th. The hard deadline is January 16th at 11:59:59pm (Idolise local time! Use the clock!).
Winter Event: Auld Lang Syne
Just like last winter, we are doing an "out with the old, in with the new" type of mastery event! This time around, we asked you all to submit your trade posts to us so that we could determine which decks had a lot of extra cards kicking around! Thanks for helping us out with this. Hello, hello! Welcome back to Idolise, everyone. ^^ Nikki and I hope that you've been having a good week.
12 Days of Christmas -- start!
Although the 12 Days of Christmas is normally supposed to start on Christmas, we thought it might be fun to get the festivities started now. Just to help everyone feel excitement leading up to the holiday season, especially with everything that is going on in the world!
What does that mean?
Over the next 12 days, we'll be popping in to give you guys gifts! Gifts will definitely vary, and they'll range between random cards, to full-blown brand new features on the site!
1st Day of Christmas: We're starting off with an easy one, and a classic! Just like we did in 2018. Head over to the forum to put up your Christmas tree, so that everyone can swing by and take their gifts. This is quite similar to the Trick-or-Treat event... It's just a re-skin! The randomizer only has cards from the last 300 releases, so please enjoy your new cards!

Hello, hello! Welcome back to Idolise for another Sunday update. We're coming at you guys a little bit later than normal because Nikki and I have been hanging out on voice chat... Just shooting the breeze for over an hour.
This update is acting as both our weekly and monthly update, as promised!
As you are already aware, we're heading into a new month. This update is going to have a little more content than we normally go for, but we hope that you'll stay and read it all. There is some important stuff in here.

Nikki and I are preparing for a possible mastery event in the second half of December, and we need your help preparing for it.
We are hoping to see which decks are the most common in your trade posts, basically! It only takes a second to help us out. You just have to paste your card list into a form!

I know that I already mentioned this last week, but the end of the month is fast approaching! Tuesday is the first day of December, and that means all November related activities must be finished by Monday night. November is just flying by, isn't it?
This is the last full week in November, so this update will provide you with the usual, and provide a couple of reminders as we are nearing the end of the month!
We will do our best to keep things short, though. Today is actually the day that Nikki and I play D&D with our pals, which has been giving us a little bit of extra joy every two weeks. We hope that everyone is enjoying and finding new hobbies. We also hope that everyone is staying safe out there, of course.
This semester has been absolutely bonkers for me, as you are all already aware... But I only have about two and a half weeks left before Christmas vacation! I'm looking forward to being able to put some more time into the site, and whatever changes that will mean for Idolise over Christmas break! I've really missed you guys and developing our little community.
We are going to be doing some sort of Christmas event. I don't believe that I will be working through my Christmas vacation, which will make running an event a whole lot easier! As always, thank you for the patience over the last couple of months. We know that things have been incredibly repetitive... And while none of you have complained, we acknowledge it and we are looking forward to giving you guys a little more to do and have fun with?
