Welcome to Idolise

First and foremost, Idolise is an online trading card game. If you're not entirely sure what this means, don't worry. We all have to start somewhere, and I think that you've come to the right place to get a little more information about what you might be getting yourself into, should you decide to join us.

Online Trading Card Games (more commonly referred to as TCGs) are actually quite similar to the trading card games you knew as a child. The main difference is that it lacks all face-to-face interaction (VERY NICE!!!), and instead, takes place online through our little website. Instead of collecting cards from packs that you've purchased at Walmart, you'll play our free (and fairly easy) games, which will earn you random cards that are yours to keep or trade away. The cards you receive are digital and kept safe through some form of self-hosted website or blog (which we usually refer to as a trading post), where you'll keep your cards organized and readily available for other members to view and offer you trades for.

The main goal is to collect all of the cards in a single deck, which is often referred to as "mastering" the deck. Throughout your journey, you'll be keeping the cards you like and/or need while trading the rest away to your fellow members. TCGs are free to play, a lot of fun, and very addictive! Based off of past experiences, I can also confirm that they are incredibly competitive. If you decide to join our community, please understand that the admin team takes no responsibility for our insane and enthusiastic members.

Learning the ropes can be a little bit overwhelming at the beginning, but don't worry! Our information pages are written with new and experienced members in mind, allowing you to learn and hopefully answer any questions you may have.
